As time wears on in the current economy there is so much chatter and it all seems to conflict, so do we know which end is up? “Some say” that the economy is getting better and that companies are hiring, and others are saying things are getting worse the longer they drag on. There is so much dirt throwing and defending of stimulus dollars and what it did or did not do for the economy, and so much focus on job numbers and unemployment figures but regardless of who you listen too it all depends on your frame of reference. Write a blog (but remember to keep it clean and not rant and rave) as potential employers will find it, join a gym and talk to everyone, maybe head to the Library? Most people find themselves only sending resumes to job postings, or just calling old friends. You need to diversify your efforts and get yourself out there. Remember the job is not going to find you, you need to find it, and in order to do that you need to give all you can. Now go get em…
